"ROMA Boots merges fashion with philanthropy to give poverty the boot. Our mission is to bring impoverished children throughout the world hope, love, and lasting change through aid and education. For every pair of boots sold, a new pair is donated to a child in need. ROMA was founded in 2010 by Samuel Bistrian, who wanted to combine his love of fashion and philanthropy to help children in his home country of Romania. ROMA's ultimate goal is not only to provide aid, but to educate. By doing so we will empower them to contribute their gifts & talents to society, eradicate poverty as a condition and a state of mind to make this world a better place."

A way to celebrate ROMA Boots amazing Philosophy and yearly anniversary, they hold an annual event called "A DAY OF HOPE". This event combines fashion, ART, and awareness to raise creative funds. This event is normally held in Dallas, TX at the shops at park lane village. Below is an example of the boot artist Toni Martin purchased, painted and donated to be sold as an art piece. Multiple artists came together that night and contributed the time to designing a boot with the inspired thoughts of helping those in need and spreading the love.

                            beyond the paint check given

Beyond The Paint is a project that is benefiting Genesis Women’s Shelter. The idea is to have women from all walks of life share their story (stories will be shared in private only with artist Toni Martin) of hardships and how they have overcome their obstacles. The point is to help spread perspective and honor the women for their strength, bravery and integrity no matter the scale of their former or current struggles. All will be used to create painted portraits for an art show with a silent auction of the pieces benefiting charity.

Toni Martin's solo show "Beyond the paint" benefiting "Genesis Women’s shelter" involved interviewing women from all walks of life on the hardships they have faced and how they overcame those challenges to meet their goals and live strong healthy lives. The hardships included rape, neglect, domestic violence, substance abuse and more. Each portrait was created to capture the essence of these women in the form of a portrait that complimented them as a whole. Each piece was sold at the show allowing Toni Martin to write a donation check to Genesis which is dedicated to helping women and children in similar situations.

This event showcased her series based on the concept of when fluid thought meets focus creating a state of lucidity. Each work of art was created through listening to music while self reflecting on the connection she had to herself and the sound.
